Police issue further details on Shifnal cash van robbery
Police investigating a cash van robbery outside Barclays Bank in Shifnal have released further details and renewed their appeal for witnesses.

Two hooded men carried out the raid on a cash van security officer at around 12.45pm today.
One man remained in a getaway car while the other confronted the security officer, threatening him with a hammer.
The offender grabbed a cash box containing a “significant” amount of money before jumping into a nearby car driven by an accomplice.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
Detective Inspector Mark Bellamy, the senior investigating officer, urged anyone in the vicinity of the bank in The Square, who saw suspicious activity which might be connected, to call Shrewsbury police station on 101 or 0300 333 3000.
He said: “We are anxious to hear from anyone who might be able to assist the investigation. In particular, we want to speak to people who possibly saw the getaway car before, during or after the robbery.
“We now know it was a silver coloured Seat Leon with some kind of yellow sign on its roof. It was probably parked up for a while before the incident.
“At 12.45pm, the security van was parked outside Barclays Bank. The robbers drove up Victoria Road, turned left onto Broadway and stopped at the junction with Aston Street.
“At this point, one of the men ran across to the security vehicle outside Barclays, threatened the security guard with a hammer and grabbed the cash box before running back to the car. The vehicle then headed off along Aston Street towards the A41.”
He said the offender who took the cash box was about 6ft tall, of slim build and probably in his twenties. He was wearing boots, dark blue jeans or trousers, a blue jacket and a dark baseball cap. The second man remained in the car.
DI Bellamy also appealed for people in the Shifnal area to keep a lookout for a discarded cash box. It is made from plastic, about two-feet long, 10ins wide and about 4ins deep.
He added: “Please contact the police without delay if you saw anything which might assist our inquiries, no matter how insignificant it might appear.”
Information about the identities of the two offenders can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111, for which a reward may be paid.
