Telford MP demands end to health uncertainty in Shropshire
Telford MP David Wright today demanded urgent action from the Secretary of State for Health over the continued uncertainty regarding services at Shropshire's two hospital sites.

Mr Wright said the Secretary of State must put an end to what he calls "endless speculation" and step in to give the people of Telford and Shropshire long term certainty.
David Wright MP said:
“Hospital bosses are once again seeking to open a debate on Accident & Emergency and other services and this has to stop. The Secretary of State has to intervene in this crazy situation and give the people of Telford and Shropshire certainty for the future. Given government assurances on the NHS I am shocked that this is happening, and that Accident & Emergency services are once again in the spotlight. Jeremy Hunt has to put a stop to this once and for all and I will be seeking an urgent meeting with him in September when Parliament returns.
"I will be launching a major public survey which I am confident will back the retention of full Accident & Emergency services at Telford. Telford is the growing town and the economic powerhouseof Shropshire and must retain a full Accident & Emergency service."
