Daniel Kawczynski, MP has set up an on-line petition in order that people can support his campaign to retain accident and emergency services at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

Shrewsbury MP launches petition to save A&E services at RSH

Concern over health care provision in Shrewsbury has been raised following the announcement from Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust that there will be, over the next six to nine months, an on-going debate on the future of health service provision in Shrewsbury, Telford & Wrekin and mid Wales.

Daniel Kawczynski said:

“Many of my constituents have already contacted me with their concerns that the latest review of hospital services may see accident and emergency services move away from the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

I have set up an on-line petition in order that people can add their name to the growing list of constituents that agree with my view that to remove A & E from Shrewsbury would have a detrimental effect on those that live in and around the town and for those from the wider community of mid Wales.

For people with access to the internet, the petition can be signed on-line by visiting my website www.daniel4shrewsbury.co.uk. For those that do not have access to a computer but would like to support the campaign I urge them to contact my constituency office on 01743 466477.”

Once names have been collected, Daniel will present the petition to the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust during their formal consultation period.
