Telford road closed following domestic incidents
Police dealing with a domestic incident in Telford last night are appealing for witnesses to two linked offences.

At around 11.50pm yesterday, police were called to a house in Wedgewood Crescent, Ketley, to reports of disorder occurring in the road. When they attended, a car had been attacked with a hammer and extensive criminal damage caused.
Shortly after, officers attended a collision involving a car and a bicycle on Whitchurch Road. Witnesses told police a blue Toyota Avensis had deliberately knocked off a man in his 40s who was riding the bike.
He was taken to hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries and later discharged before being arrested on suspicion of the criminal damage in Wedgewood Crescent.
A man in his 50s and a woman in her 30s were also arrested in relation to causing the collision. All three are currently in custody being questioned by detectives. A section of Whitchurch Road between Bennett’s Bank to the Furrow Island remains cordoned off as detectives and forensic officers work at the scene.
Detective Inspector Billy Scott, who is investigating the incidents, said: “We believe these two offences are linked and are domestic related: all those involved are known to each other.
“I would like to appeal to any witnesses to come forward. We are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who saw the collision on Whitchurch Road involving the blue Toyota.”
