Burglary suspects arrested in Oswestry area
Three burglary suspects were arrested earlier today after Police stopped a suspicious vehicle in the Oswestry.

The officers located three men in a van at Queen’s Head near Oswestry shortly after 2am.
Various items were recovered from the vehicle including property thought to have been recently stolen from premises in the area.
The men, aged 19, 21 and 36 were taken into custody at Shrewsbury police station on suspicion of carrying out burglaries and also going equipped to steal. Two are from the Telford area and the other from Coventry
They remain in police cells for questioning.
Acting Detective Chief Inspector Peter Brophy said:
“I would remind people that if they see anything suspicious, do call the police either on 101, or on 999 if they think a crime is actually in progress.
“It only takes a second or two to make that call. Once we are alerted, officers can quickly check out what’s happening. Crimes can be prevented by members of the public giving us an immediate call if they suspect something untoward going on,” he added.
