Police are seeking information about four burglars who left empty-handed after breaking into Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology.

Shrewsbury College burglars leave empty handed

Police Constable Will Sneddon is appealing for help in identifying the offenders who were wearing hoods and scarves around their faces.

It’s believed the four males gained entry to the Shrewsbury college at around 1.30am on Monday after smashing glass panels in two doors causing several hundred pounds damage.

They then broke into a dispensing machine which was empty and forced an office door.

PC Sneddon said: “They found nothing of value to steal and left empty-handed after causing considerable damage to doors and several other items.

“I am appealing to anyone who thinks they know the culprits, to contact Shrewsbury police station on 101. Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.”
