SUBWAY plans to create 255 new jobs in Shropshire
The number of SUBWAY stores in Shropshire is set to grow from 9 to 26 over the next three years, creating around 255 new jobs.

The next three months will see new stores opening at the Mile End petrol filling station on the outskirts of Oswestry, within the Spar convenience store in Ludlow and two retails parks in the towns of Shrewsbury and Telford have almost been secured for development.
Brother and sister team, James and Andrea Fleck, Development Agents for the SUBWAY brand in Shropshire today announced their ambitious plans.
James Fleck, said: “The planned expansion in Shropshire will not only provide a significant boost to the local employment market but also give entrepreneurs the opportunity to establish their own small business. The 11 new recruits will play a key part in delivering the great food and quality service the SUBWAY brand is known for”.
“Andrea and I have been successful franchisees for nearly 15 years, currently in personal ownership of five SUBWAY stores within the towns of Evesham, Kidderminster and Stratford-upon-Avon, so we’re both very familiar with the challenges and rewards of operating a small business.”
The news follows an announcement by SUBWAY co-founder Fred DeLuca who visited the UK last year to reveal plans to increase the number of UK stores to 2000 by 2015, creating 6000 new jobs.
To achieve growth in Shropshire, James and Andrea Fleck will be looking to recruit at least 11 new franchisees.
