The leader of Telford & Wrekin Council, Kuldip Sahota has launched his new blog to help keep borough residents up-to-date and to receive feedback.

Telford & Wrekin Council leader launches new blog

The new blog www.telford.gov.uk/leadersblog is part of a comitment by Telford & Wrekin Council to listen to and involve residents in its decision-making, along with the Conversation with Kuldip public meetings and #AskKuldip twitter sessions.

The blog will be regularly updated with posts on a variety of subjects and will offer local residents an opportunity to leave comments.

The council says debate and discussion will be encouraged and comments will be moderated and responded to.

Councillor Sahota said: “My blog is another way of promoting discussion with and listening to the views of people in the borough.

“A key part of being a co-operative council is listening to people’s views and ideas and the blog is another simple way that people can give us their feedback.

“There are other ways you can already do this and we’re always looking for more ways that will make it easier for people to connect with me and the Council.”
