Woman in lucky escape after falling down well in Broseley
A woman was this afternoon rescued after becoming trapped down a well in Broseley.
The woman fell down the well after the footpath to a doorway of a home gave way in a garden off High Street in Broseley just after 1pm.
She had a lucky escape after landing on a ledge which was 6ft below the surface. The well itself was around 30ft deep.
Firefighters from Much Wenlock and Wellington rescued the woman using a line and short extension ladder.
