Telford Loyalty Card to smash 40,000 barrier
The Telford Loyalty Card which launched in April is set to pass the 40,000th cardholder barrier.

Telford & Wrekin Council says that well over 39,000 cardholders have now registered their card, which is more than 10,000 more than registered for the TLC’s predecessor, the Flex Card, during the 10 years of its existence..
With the magical figure of 40,000 now in sight, Telford & Wrekin Council is going to give the cardholder who enables the TLC to reach that figure a special prize.
The 40,000th cardholder that registers will receive a bumper leisure package including a family ticket to Telford Ice Rink, 18 holes of golf for two people at Horsehay Village Golf Centre and three months free membership to aspirations gym.
Councillor Shaun Davies, Telford & Wrekin Council’s cabinet lead for the Telford Loyalty Card, said: “The TLC has been a massive success and we are on the verge of reaching the twin landmarks of 40,000 cards registered and 200 businesses signed up to give discounts.
“I think it is fantastic the way the community has supported our idea and we are delighted to offer a prize to the person who registers the 40,000th card.”
For people who still need to get a free TLC card and start enjoying the benefits of reduced price leisure and discounts at local businesses, cards are available from all Telford and Wrekin leisure centres, libraries and First Points within Addenbrooke House and Wellington Civic and Leisure Centre.
It is free for businesses to sign up to the TLC card so for any business who wants to get involved, or anyone who needs to register a TLC card and find out what offers are already available, visit www.telford.gov.uk/tlc
