Arrest made following drugs warrant in Shrewsbury town centre
Police have arrested a 48-year-old man seizing suspected drugs and cash after a search warrant was carried out at a flat in Shrewsbury town centre.

Twelve officers executed the warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at the premises in Castle Foregate last night.
Sergeant Steven Fitzpatrick said a large amount of suspected cannabis worth several thousand pounds was recovered from the address together with more than £1,000 and drug-associated equipment.
The man was detained outside the address on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply. He has since been given police bail pending further inquiries.
Sergeant Fitzpatrick said the warrant was carried out by a team of regular officers, police community support officers and members of the Special Constabulary.
He added: “This sends out a clear message that police Safer Neighbourhood Teams will act whenever information is received about suspected illegal drug activity.”
