Work progressing on new housing scheme for Wellington
Development of a new housing scheme which will provide 50 new homes for Wellington is underway, with homes expected to be completed next year.
The Wrekin Housing Trust will be providing 39 brand new two and three bedroom houses and 11 apartments on Limekiln Lane in Wellington, which are currently being constructed by Hawk Group.
All of the new houses will be made available for rent through the Trust’s lettings system, Choose Your Home, as soon as they are ready.
Jean Teichmann, Head of Development, said: “We’re excited to see work progressing on this substantial development which will provide more affordable homes for the local people in this area. The homes will be built to a very high standard meaning that people live in warm, energy-efficient and modern homes, which is something that’s very important to us at the Trust.”
