Police are seeking public help in tracing a man who indecently exposed himself to two young girls in Shrewsbury.

The man, who was on a bike, confronted two schoolgirls walking in Underdale Road at about 8pm on Friday.

Police Constable Damian Madeley, the investigating officer, said he rode past the girls and then waited for them further along in a garden.

It’s believed the same man may be responsible for similar incidents in recent months in the same general area.

PC Madeley said: “We are anxious to trace this individual and would welcome any information which might help identity him. People can call Shrewsbury police station on the non emergency 101 number or the anonymous Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.

“He is white, of medium to heavy build and was dressed all in black including a balaclava with eye holes and was riding a mountain bike with thin tyres.”
