Met Office issue Yellow Warning for Strong Winds
The Met Office has issued a Yellow Severe Weather Warning for strong winds across Shropshire.
A rapidly deepening Atlantic depression is expected to move in an easterly direction to the north of Scotland bringing westerly gales this evening and tomorrow.
Winds will pick up overnight and strengthen during tomorrow morning, with perhaps gales in some exposed locations, as a spell of locally heavy rain moves southwards across the region through the afternoon.
The winds are set to ease later tomorrow.
