Shropshire fire crews to help with Norfolk flooding situation
Crews from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service are heading to Norfolk this evening to help with a potential flooding situation.

Residents and businesses along the Norfolk coast were today being evacuated for up to 48 hours to cover three high tides expected to reach more than 1.8m above a normal maximum.
Emergency centres have been set up in local schools in anticipation of the peak tide expected at 10pm tonight.
Properties in South Yarmouth, North Yarmouth, Southtown, Caister and Cobholm are affected.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service are sending a High Volume Pumping Unit, Hose layer and support pump from Prees. A boat and boat crew from Shrewsbury along with two welfare officers have also been sent to the Norfolk area.
The crews will try and reduce any potential impacts that may occur this evening as a result of the predicted storm surge which has the potential to be the worst in 60 years.
