Police investigate car theft from Madeley driveway
Thieves have stolen a car from the driveway of a home in Madeley after taking the keys from inside owners home.
The theft of the blue Ford Focus ST-3 occurred at an address on South Drive in Madeley at around 7.15pm yesterday.
Thieves opened the insecure front door at the address and stole the keys that were sitting on a cabinet in the hallway.
The car was recovered just over two hours later on Benthall View in Madeley.
Police in Telford are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the car between the time it was stolen and the time it was found.
Investigating officers have asked anyone who believes they have information about it, especially anyone who may have seen the car being stolen or dumped, to call them as soon as possible on 101 so they can try to trace the thieves responsible.
