Five charged with robbery at Shrewsbury home
Five men were due to appear in court today charged with robbery offences at a home in Shrewsbury.

They were charged overnight with three offences involving robbing people at a house in Old Heath at around 2pm on Wednesday.
The five suspects were arrested within 20 minutes of the alarm being raised. Police traced a Ford Transit van on the old A5 near Wellington.
Officers recovered the stolen property which included passports, a mobile phone and a quantity of Euros and other cash.
The five men, aged between 28 and 42, will appear before Telford magistrates this morning.
Detective Inspector Tom Harding today praised members of the public for their role in the investigation.
“Following this incident, we received reports about a suspicious vehicle and also about the direction of travel of a vehicle which enabled us to quickly locate and arrest the suspects.
“This was great support from the public. People often play a part in many arrests as witnesses or by passing on information about suspicious activity.”
In a separate incident, a 34-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of robbery at a home in Crowmeole Drive, Shrewsbury on Wednesday night, has been given police bail with conditions while inquiries continue.
A woman was threatened in the incident and money stolen by two men. No-one was injured. One man was arrested at an address in Field Crescent a few hours later.
