Two treated following kitchen fire in Bridgnorth
Two elderly people were this afternoon treated for smoke inhalation and shock following a fire in Bridgnorth.
The fire at the property in Love Lane, broke out after electrical items were left on a hob.
Emergency services were called to the home at around 1.15pm.
The fire which was out by the time firefighters arrived at the property caused smoke damage to around 30 per cent of the kitchen.
A 70-year-old man was treated for smoke inhalation and another elderly person was treated for shock.
