Telford & Wrekin Council will host a partnership market next Monday at Telford Shopping Centre to show local people their work around the borough.

There will be more than 20 stalls in Sherwood Square, outside Debenhams, from the Council and partner organisations.

Stalls will include information on the Council’s budget consultation and its new recycling which starts in April, as well as representatives from CVS, Fire and Rescue and Police services and Job Centre Plus.

Whether if you have any questions about volunteering, training for work or becoming a police cadet or how you can get involved with AFC Telford Utd, come along and find out more.

All stalls will be open from 9am-6pm and anyone is welcome to stop and have a conversation about future plans for the borough.

Council leader Kuldip Sahota said: “This is an opportunity for local people to come and find out how we and our partners are working together to support residents and our communities.

“It is also very important that all organisations listen to the views of local people and I am sure this event will provide a very useful way of listening to some of those views.”

Among the organisations at the event will be Telford & Wrekin Volunteer Service, Shropshire County Training, Telford College, West Mercia Police, Shropshire Fire and rescue Service, Veolia who will provide recycling services in the borough from April, AFC Telford United, support group Parents Opening Doors and the Community Voluntary Service.
