Met Office forecasters warn of further stormy weather
Met Office forecasters are warning of further spells of stormy weather this week, bringing the possibility of further disruption.

Another low pressure system will bring rain and gales from the west today. Unsettled weather is then expected for the rest of the week, with further storms due to track across the UK tomorrow and again towards the weekend.
After a wet and windy start in Shropshire today, the rain will clear eastwards leaving the rest of the day bright and breezy, with a few showers.
Showers will ease this evening, but a spell of showery rain is possible through the early hours, falling as snow for a time.
Tomorrow will be wet and very windy, especially through the afternoon, with gales over hills and some heavy bursts of rain. Gusts of between 50–60mph are possible.
Martin Young, Met Office Chief Meteorologist, said: "We are expecting more Atlantic storms to affect the UK this week. This will bring the continuing risk of flooding. In addition damaging winds could bring down trees to cause disruption to travel and power networks.
"There is some uncertainty about the track these storms will take, and therefore which areas will see the strongest winds and heaviest rain. We are monitoring how they will develop and will keep everyone up to date through our forecasts and warnings."
