Homes and business in some parts of Shropshire remain without power today following Wednesday’s storm.

Shropshire homes and businesses remain without power

Scottish Power Energy Networks who look after the supply in the North West Shropshire area said they are working around the clock to connect customers. Around 700 properties remain without power this morning.

Weston Power say they have a small number of customers on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border without power.

Many customers lost their power as winds picked up across the county during Wednesday's storm which brought down trees and damaged properties.
