Staff were left distressed and shocked after being threatened by a man with a handgun last night.

Staff threatened by gunman at Bridgnorth convenience store

At around 9pm, as two staff members closed the Nisa Local on Queensway Drive, Bridgnorth a man entered the shop with his face covered. The staff were threatened with what they believed was a small handgun wrapped in a plastic bag and told to put money into a bag.

After the money was given to the robber the two staff members were ordered into a back room while he made his escape.

Any information about the crime can be passed on anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or completing its online form by logging on to www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
