Homophobic messages written on car parked in Bridgnorth
Police are appealing for information after a number of homophobic messages were written on a car in Bridgnorth.
The incident occurred on Bernards Hills in the early hours of Sunday 23 February.
Sometime between 12.30am and 3am, a person approached the vehicle parked on the street and covered it in brown sauce.
A number of homophobic messages were written in the sauce and left on the vehicle.
Both wing mirrors on the vehicle were also broken off.
Although the brown sauce has washed off the vehicle without causing any damage, the car’s owner has to pay several hundred pounds to replace the wing mirrors.
Officers investigating this incident are keen to hear from anyone who believes they may have information about it, especially anyone who thinks they may know why this vehicle – a Renault - was targeted.
Anyone who believes they may have information about this incident is asked to call police in Shrewsbury on 101, quoting incident number 204S 230214.
Alternatively, please remember that Crimestoppers can also be called anonymously on 0800 555 111 if you’d rather leave information without identifying yourself.
