A 28-year-old man was charged after he threatened a woman with a knife during a robbery that took place at a newsagents in Shrewsbury yesterday.

Officers were called to Shemars Newsagents on Mount Pleasant Road at around 4.25pm yesterday after a man threatened a woman member of staff before grabbing money from the till and running off.
