Police continue to investigate Wellington Cemetery plaque thefts
Police in Telford are continuing to investigate the theft of 100 bronze plaques from Wellington Cemetery.

A Telford man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of theft on Friday evening, he is currently on police bail until 27 March.
The plaques are worth around £100 each - £10,000 in total, they were taken from off the side of the main chapel building in the Garden of Remembrance between 28 February and 5 March.
It is believed attempts were made to sell the plaques at scrap metal yards. They each measured six inches by four inches and were inscribed with the names of the deceased, along with messages and dates.
Around 40 plaques have been recovered and police are trying to confirm these are among the ones stolen from Wellington Cemetery.
Witnesses or anyone with information about where the outstanding plaques are should contact PC Neil Vaughan at West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 418-s-070314 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
