Man dies in two car collision in Llanyblodwel
A man has died following a collision near the Shropshire border.

The collision involving two cars happened at around 8.40am yesterday on the A495 near Llanyblodwell.
The driver of the silver Peugeot 307 which overturned was pronounced dead at the scene. He has yet to be formally identified and a post mortem was due to be held today.
His car was involved in a collision with a black Volkswagen Caddy.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews immediately assessed a man found trapped in one of the vehicles.
“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.
“No one else was injured in this incident.”
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today: “Investigations are continuing into the circumstances leading up to this tragic incident and we have renewed our appeal for witnesses to come forward.
“Anyone who saw the actual collision or who spotted either vehicle being driven immediately beforehand, should contact Oswestry or Shrewsbury police stations on 101.”
The Peugeot was travelling away from Llanyblodwell. Following the collision it struck a road sign coming to rest on its roof. The VW was heading in the opposite direction towards Llanyblodwell.
The Shropshire coroner Mr John Ellery has been informed and an inquest will be opened in due course.
