Car and lorry collide on A41 in Newport
A car driver escaped serious injury after his car collided with a lorry on the A41 this afternoon.
The collision occurred on the A41 in Newport shortly after 2.30pm.
A West Midlands Ambulance spokesman said: “The car left the road and ended up in bushes. Its driver, a man in his thirties, had managed to get out.
“He had some cuts, but he had banged his head. He was therefore immobilised as a precaution and was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
A senior paramedic officer in a rapid response vehicle and two ambulance crews attended.
