Police investigate burglary at house in Trench
Police in Telford are investigating a burglary at a house in Trench at the weekend.
The incident occurred sometime between 7.30pm and 9.45pm at an address on Trench Road in Trench on Saturday.
Thieves entered the house through a window at the rear of the property. They carried out a thorough search of a number of rooms before stealing several items and making their escape.
Among the items stolen was a handbag containing a black, HTC Desire mobile phone and a purse containing around £20 in cash and various personal documents.
The handbag and the personal documents were actually recovered from the rear garden at the property but neither the cash or the mobile phone has been found.
In addition, it is thought that several items of jewellery were also taken by the thieves but the exact items taken have yet to be established.
