Specialist animal rescue team helps rescue trapped heifer
A specialist animal rescue team last night rescued a young cow who became stuck in a slurry lagoon at a north Shropshire farm.
The heifer was released from a 10ft slurry lagoon by Shropshrie Fire and Rescue Crews who drained the lagoon into a nearby field.
A specialist animal crew from wellington then assisted the cow to safety using the Hi-ab from the Rescue Tender.
A vet was also in attendance.
