Boy offered lift during suspicious incident in Highley
Police are investigating a suspicious incident at Highley, near Bridgnorth, in which an 11-year-old boy was repeatedly offered a lift by a stranger.

A car came up behind the youngster as he was walking home along Bridgnorth Road at around 6pm yesterday.
The man driving the vehicle asked three times if he wanted a lift but each time, the boy declined.
A resident then came out of a nearby house and the man drove off towards Bridgnorth.
The boy was upset but not hurt and at no time did the man attempt to get out of the vehicle.
Police Constable Robert Mills, the investigating officer, said the incident was being treated as suspicious and appealed for witnesses.
He praised the boy for refusing to get into the car and for reporting the matter.
The driver was described as white, aged about 40 to 50 with tanned skin and a shaved or bald head and wearing a white collared shirt. His vehicle was described as a navy blue middle sized car similar to a Ford Focus.
PC Mills added: “I am appealing for any information which might help us trace the driver. Contact Bridgnorth or Kidderminster police station on 101 and quote the reference 0577s 060514.
“Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111 or via its website, www.crimestoppers-uk.org .”
