Three to appear in court following Telford drugs raids
Three people will appear in court today following a major drugs operation in Telford yesterday, 17 others are still being questioned by police.

The three men were charged overnight after a number of warrants were executed just before 7.30am yesterday at addresses including Hadley, Leegomery, Wellington and Wolverhampton.
More than 200 police officers were involved in the operation and eventually 20 people were arrested – 16 men and 4 women – in total.
Police say the 17 other people arrested remain in custody at the present time.
Speaking about the progress of the operation, Detective Inspector Gavin Kinrade said:
“I’m pleased to report we have charged two men with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and one man with intent to supply Class B drugs.
“All three men will now be appearing at Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning.
“In addition to the 20 arrests we made in total yesterday, I can now also confirm that we seized several thousand pounds of cash as well as Class A drugs with an estimated street value of at least £20,000.
“At the present time I am unable to give any further details about the progress of this operation but I would like to take this opportunity to thank those people living close to the addresses we targeted yesterday for their support and patience as our officers went about their investigative work.”
