Great Dawley Town Council's Chair and Vice-Chair re-elected
Great Dawley Town Council on Monday night held their Annual Council Meeting, part of which requires councillors to vote for a Chair and Vice-Chair for the forthcoming year.
Following on from their success from last year Councillors have re-elected Councillor Shaun Davies as Chair and Councillor Jane Pinter as Vice-Chair for Great Dawley Town Council
Council Chairman Cllr Shaun Davies said: “I was delighted to be re-elected as Chair for the next year and was supported by councillors of all parties. The Town Council will continue to do its best to support and improve our area - and I look forward to working with residents, partners and councillors for the next year"
Vice-Chair Jane Pinter also commented: “I am very pleased to be again elected as vice chair and I am looking forward to working alongside Dawley Town Councillors on what will be another busy year in helping to secure the best for the residents of Dawley."
Also elected at Monday’s meeting was the members for each of the Councils sub-committees.
