Suspects seen on CCTV stealing bike from Shrewsbury train station
A specialist bicycle worth £2,500 was stolen from Shrewsbury railway station last month and British Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for information.

The CCTV image released is of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the theft, which took place around 10.50am on Monday, 28 April.
Investigating officer PC Kirk Smith said:
“Two men entered Shrewsbury station onto platform 3 and walked down the steps towards the bike racks.
“One of them was seen to remove a set of bolt cutters from a rucksack and cut the lock off a bike before riding away in the direction of the fire station.
“The stolen bike – which was custom-made and worth around £2,500 - belonged to a medical professional from Shrewsbury who had only just finished building it. Understandably, he has been left devastated.
“Enquiries have been ongoing since the theft took place to discover who stole this cycle, and I am today able to release CCTV images of two men I would like to identify and speak to, as I believe they may have key information in relation to this incident.”
Officers are carrying out a variety of initiatives to catch thieves in the act. They are also working closely with cycle and second-hand shops and monitoring online auction and advertising sites to make it more difficult for thieves to sell on stolen property.
PC Smith added: “There are lots of things people can do to lessen their chances of becoming a victim of bike theft, like ensuring their property is adequately marked and secured. If a bike is adequately marked, it makes it much easier to identify and therefore helps reduce the risk of theft.
