Police in Telford are investigating after a burglary at an address on Chiltern Gardens in Dawley last Thursday.

Police investigate burglary in Dawley

Thieves used an implement to prise open a large, metal garage door, breaking the electric motor on the door.

Once inside the garage they carried out a thorough search before stealing a number of items and making their escape. Although the garage connects to the house via an internal door the thieves didn't try to enter the house itself.

The items stolen as a result of this break-in include a RAC jet wash pressure washer worth around £100 and a large Makita tool bag containing tools with a value of around £1000.

Officers investigating this burglary are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Chiltern Gardens area sometime between 8pm on 27 May and 7am on Thursday 29 May.

Anyone who believes they may have information about this incident should call police in Telford on 101, quoting incident number 0643S 290514.

Alternatively please remember Crimestoppers can also be called anonymously on 0800 555 111.
