Police in Telford are appealing for information after an indecent exposure incident in Old Park.

Man indecently exposes himself to woman in Telford

At around 2pm on Thursday 5 June, as a 19-year-old woman was walking past the grassed area by The Crest, she was approached by an unknown man.

Without warning the man suddenly exposed himself to the woman and made various gestures to her. The woman immediately left the scene and a short time later she contacted the police to report this incident.

Officers investigating this incident are keen to hear from anyone who may have information about it and are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a man matching the following description near the back of Sainsbury’s on Forge Retail Park, Old Park itself or Ketley Bank at around the time this incident occurred yesterday.

The man police are looking for is described as being white, aged in his mid 20s, around 5ft 10inches tall and as having a medium build.

He is also described a having short, light brown, spiky hair, stubble on his face and as wearing black trousers and a grey t-shirt with light blue and white print on it.

Anyone who believes they may have information about this incident, or who may recognise the man from the description given, is asked to call police in Telford as soon as possible on 101, quoting incident number 0287S 050614.

Alternatively please remember Crimestoppers can also be called anonymously on 0800 555 111.
