Market Drayton woman charged with fraud and theft offences

A Market Drayton woman has been charged with a total of 19 fraud and theft offences following an investigation by West Mercia Police.

The charge related to incidents which took place between 2005 and 2014.

Susan Weston, 60, of Bartons Lane, Market Drayton appeared before Telford Magistrates’ Court this afternoon, Friday 4 July, charged with 17 counts of fraud by false representation and two counts of theft.

Weston was released on bail and will appear before Shrewsbury Crown Court on Monday 1 September.
