New tenants announced for Southwater
All bars and restaurant units in the first phase of Telford’s flagship £250m Southwater development are now let – with the final two tenants to sign up announced today.

The unit on the corner between Telford Ice Rink and the new Premier Inn has been let to Wildwood Restaurants. The last available unit on the ground floor of Southwater One has been let to Hungry Horse.
Wildwood Restaurants is a small collection of restaurants that aims to serve freshly prepared food in a relaxed, homely environment.
Hungry Horse has more than 220 family pubs around the UK with an emphasis on good food, outstanding value and an inviting atmosphere for the whole family.
Telford & Wrekin Council leader Councillor Kuldip Sahota said: “I am delighted that we are now in a position where we can announce two more tenants for the Southwater development.
“This means all the units in the first phase of the development are fully allocated, adding a massive 13 new market-leading names to the town centre to the town. We have a very exciting couple of months ahead as these open for business.
“Southwater has already transformed the look and feel of the town centre for the better and I’d like to welcome Wildwood and Hungry Horse to the impressive list of leisure outlets that will help create a vibrant heart for the town centre.”
The two newly announced units are in addition to the other restaurants, bars and leisure attractions that will open in Southwater in the next few months – including an 11 screen IMAX Cineworld and Starbucks, a Premier Inn, Zizzi’s, Chimichanga’s, Wagamama’s, Nando’s, Bella Italia, Pizza Express, Mimosaand Harvester.
Telford & Wrekin Council’s flagship Southwater One building opened to the public earlier this month. It includes the council’s First Point contact centre, the Southwater Library and a Costa Coffee outlet.
