Young girl assaulted by man in Whitchurch
Police in Whitchurch are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old girl was physically assaulted in Park Road, at around 3.45pm on Saturday 30 August.
A white man approached the girl from behind coming from the direction of Jubilee Park. He then physically assaulted her outside a residential property before fleeing the scene with his t-shirt pulled over his face. The man was described as wearing a short sleeved grey t-shirt and blue jeans.
The girl was uninjured in the incident.
DS John Weaver said: “Although we haven’t got a good physical description of the male he did flee the scene in broad daylight with his t-shirt pulled over his face so we hope that someone will have seen something that may help with our enquiries.”
