Firefighters tackle Wellington fish bar fire
A Wellington fish bar has been left badly smoke damaged following a fire which broke out in ventilation ducting yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters from Telford Central and Wellington were called to the fire at Ocean Fish Bar in Hordley Road just after 5pm.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a covering jet and hosereel jet to put out the blaze. They also used small gear and a thermal imaging camera to check the fire had not spread into unseen areas.
The fire was extinguished before it could spread, but the premises were left badly smoke damaged.
