A woman was this morning taken to hospital as a precaution following a house fire in Shrewsbury.
The fire broke out in a bedroom of the property in Moreton Crescent at just before 10.30am.
Two fire crews from Shrewsbury attended the scene.
The road was closed for a time to traffic with a diversion put into operation.
