Dairy farmers to protest at Muller Wiseman in Market Drayton

Farmers for Action is set to target the company in what could be first in a series of protests aimed at reversing the recent swathe of milk price cuts.

Muller was one of a number of processors to announce price cuts last week. It is reducing its price by 1.9ppl, which take it to 27.1ppl from Nov 1.

The group say they are working with police and are not planning blockades and are not 'millitants' just hardworking dairy farmers.

Supporters are set to congregate from 8pm.
