Shropshire teacher held hostage in Libya freed
A teacher from Craven Arms held hostage by Islamic militants in Libya has been reunited with his family.

David Bolam, a headteacher at the now-closed International School in Benghazi, northern Libya, was kidnapped whilst out shopping in May.
Although it has not been officially confirmed who his captors were, a group calling itself the Army of Islam, a faction in Libya, released an online video of Mr Bolam dated 28 August pleading for his release.
Mr Bolam, was flown back to the UK on Thursday night, his kidnapping had not been reported at the request of his family and the Foreign Office.
It is thought the teacher's release was secured by local political factions and that money changed hands.
The Foreign Office, which does not support the payment of ransoms, has declined to comment on the report.
Ludlow MP Philip Dunne said he was “Delighted that David Bolam had returned home to his family.”
Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond tweeted: "Glad that David Bolam is safe and well after his ordeal and has been reunited with his family, who we have been supporting since he was taken."
