Investigation continues following death at event near Oswestry
An investigation is continuing into the death of a man at a Halloween event near Oswestry.
Matthew Jones, of Johnstown, Wrexham, died on his 20th Birthday during the early hours of Saturday.
He died after attending an event at the Academy Skatepark on Rednal Industrial Estate.
His cause of death is unknown, but police are treating it as suspicious.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have attended the event or have any information, to contact them on telephone 101 quoting incident 219s of 1 November 2014. Information can also be reported to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place in the next few days.
The Academy indoor skate park was closed on Saturday while police continued with their investigations but was open again yesterday.
