Police issue appeal after man grabs schoolgirl in Whitchurch
Police are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old girl was grabbed by a man in Whitchurch on Thursday 13 November.

The schoolgirl was walking home along the cycle path between the rugby club and Edgeley Road towards the park on Wayland Road between 3pm and 3.30pm yesterday, a man grabbed her arm.
Thankfully the girl managed to get away and raised the alarm with a responsible adult who brought the incident to our attention.
The suspect is described as a white man of slim build in his early 20’s, with a thin line of facial hair running from his bottom lip to his chin. He was wearing an over-sized light grey hooded top and was carrying a black JD sports bag.
Investigations are currently ongoing into whether the incident is linked to previous incident that took place in Park Road, Whitchurch on 30 August.
Detective Inspector Teresa McKenna of Shropshire CID said today: "Thankfully the girl was not harmed but understandably shaken up by the ordeal. It is not yet known what the man’s motives were and we are currently treating it as a suspicious incident.
“Naturally we want to hear from anyone who may recognise the description of the man or may have seen him about the area.”
