Appeal launched to trace Shropshire country lane fly tippers
A campaign is underway to track down the culprits who fly tipped at the entrance to the former open cast coal site between the villages of New Works and Little Wenlock.

Anti-litter campaigner and local New Works resident Elaine Adams is appealing for the public's help to catch whoever was responsible for the latest fly tipping incident which occurred on Friday and Saturday night.
"By dumping their dug up patio or driveway onto a public highway, the perpetrators are not only costing taxpayers money to have it removed but there could be a serious accident if someone drives into this at night," said Elaine, who alerted police to the incident for the highways authority to remove the rubbish from the road.
"It looks very much like someone has had their patio recently done. If you know of anyone, your neighbour or if you see someone has had their driveway done with similar products then please contact the council or police. Let's catch them between us. They are costing taxpayers money, are a blight on the Shropshire countryside and a danger to the motorist."
The debris also includes two wooden pallets, plastic bags from Wyresdale Concrete Products Ltd, empty Hanson kiln dried sand bags and a metal grille and 2ft square metal cover.
Information can be reported to West Mercia Police on 101 or by calling Telford & Wrekin Council on 01952 380000.
