Police officers are appealing for help to identify and locate a woman who went missing after checking into A&E at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.

Concern for woman who attended A&E at the Princess Royal Hospital

She presented herself to nursing staff at the Accident and Emergency department of Princess Royal Hospital in the early hours of this morning (Friday 2 January 2015).

The woman is believed to be Samantha Jones, however this maybe a false name given to staff.

She walked out of the hospital at around 5:50am this morning but is in need of treatment following injury to her left arm and further assessment.

She is described as white with a northern accent, stocky build approximately 5ft 4 inches in height, with possible blonde hair. She was last seen wearing black woolly hat, black padded jacket, and black leggings tucked into knee high black boots and wearing black rimmed narrow glasses.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

If you are the women seen in the CCTV, then we would like to hear from you to ensure that you are safe and well.

Officers are asking people to report any sightings of anyone matching her description to West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting 54S 2 January.
