The family of a woman who died after her car collided with a wall of a house near Maesbury, today paid tribute to their “Very happy girl who everyone loved.”

Sherelyne Norris, aged 43, and from the Maesbury area died following the collision at about 4pm on Thursday 18 December 2014.

Her parents, Mr and Mrs Norris, said: "Sherelyne was a very happy girl who had loads of friends and wonderful neighbours. She lost her partner at the age of 47 three years ago, and should have been going to Australia on holiday tomorrow. We would like to particularly thank John, her extremely good friend.”

Sherelyne leaves behind two brothers and three sisters, and 11 nieces and nephews, who she adored. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Sherelyne’s funeral will take place tomorrow at 1.30pm at Guilsfield Parish Church in Welshpool.

Sergeant Wealthall from Shrewsbury said: "This was a tragic incident in which a woman lost her life, and our thoughts go out to Sherelyne’s family and friends. We ask that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.”
