Weather warning issued as snow falls across Shropshire
The Met Office has today issued a Yellow alert for snow and ice across Shropshire.

Showers of sleet, snow and hail will continue through the rest of today and into tomorrow morning, although at lower levels there will be a gradual trend towards rain and sleet from this evening onwards.
Tomorrow is forecast to be cold, breezy and generally cloudy at first. Further outbreaks of rain, sleet and hill snow are likely. Becoming brighter later with some sunny spells and wintry showers developing. A high of 6C.
For details on any Shropshire school closures see Shropshire Council and Telford & Wrekin Council websites.
Information about other council services affected by the weather will be published at http://www.Shropshire.gov.uk/service-closures for Shropshire Council or http://www.telford.gov.uk/info/20047/winter_service for Telford & Wrekin Council.
More than 400 schools in Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England are closed today. Main roads in Durham, Yorkshire and north Wales are among those closed because of the weather and more than a dozen rail services between Manchester and York have been cancelled, as northern England is hit by the storms this morning.
Flights to and from Manchester Airport have been suspended, with flights being diverted.
The Met Office has issued an amber "be prepared" warning for snow, which covers huge parts of Britain from Liverpool Bay to the Humber to the western side of the Welsh mountains.
Up to 15cm (6in) of snow is expected to fall in parts of the North tonight and there is also snow expected during the morning rush hour in the Northwest, on the M6 north of Cheshire, Scotland and Greater London.
In Scotland, forecasters said more than 5cm (2in) could accumulate at lower levels by this morning, with more than 15cm on high ground, making conditions treacherous for drivers.
