Teenager charged after elderly woman is injured during burglary
A 17-year-old male has been charged with burglary, after a woman in her 90s required hospital treatment following an incident in Telford on Friday.
The woman required hospital treatment for facial injuries following the burglary which occurred at around 1.30am at a property in the Little Dawley area of Telford.
Police say the investigation into the incident is ongoing and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Inquiries are also focussing on thefts from motor vehicles in the Saplings area of Telford and police are asking people to check their cars to see if they have been tampered with or anything is missing from them.

The teenager has been bailed until Wednesday 25 February.
