EE to give update on Bishop's Castle mobile phone coverage
Mobile phone service provider EE is to report on progress they have made on improving signals in the Bishop's Castle area.

Representatives from the company addressed the Local Joint Committee last October, following a long campaign run by local Councillors Charlotte Barnes, Heather Kidd and Nigel Hartin.
Cllr Barnes said: "We have had some major problems with a decline in our signal quality in this area. We received a number of promises from John Carwadine of EE at our last meeting and we are eager to see what progress has been made. I must confess that I have not seen any radical improvement to date."
Cllr Barnes, Hartin and Kidd will be meeting Gareth Hewlett and his team from EE at Shirehall, Shrewsbury on Thursday.
In December, EE announced their commitment to connect over 1,500 rural communities in the next three years through the rollout of their micro network technology, which requires no broadband or cables.
The micro network can connect communities of around 100-150 homes and businesses, across an area of 0.5 square miles with just three or four small antennas. An antenna can be installed on to any building in just a few hours, and planning applications are not required.
